Victor D. Huhem, Esq.
Victor Huhem graduated Cum Laude from BYU’s prestigious J. Reuben Clark Law School, earning several honors and awards, including highest scores in Real Property, Land Use Regulations, and Real Estate Finance. He also received the second highest score on the State Bar Exam.
After law school, Mr. Huhem clerked for the Honorable Gary D. Stott of the Utah Fourth District Court. He then joined California based, Luce Forward, Hamilton & Scripps, recognized nationally for its cutting-edge real estate and insurance departments. Mr. Huhem later became managing partner of Jefferson & Young. His clients included some of the largest real estate and insurance companies in the world.
In 2009, Mr. Huhem founded Huhem Law Firm PLLC, serving clients in Texas, California, and Utah in a wide variety of practice areas. Huhem Law Firm’s primary area of practice is serving the multi-family industry, including landlord-tenant litigation.
Mr. Huhem is a member of the Apartment Association of Tarrant County’s President’s Club, serves on its Board of Directors, and sponsors its Education Program. He’s also a Gold Level Sponsor for the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas’ Educational Conference, and an active member of the AAGD Legal Services Program where he provides legal advice and services to apartment owners and managers.
Mr. Huhem was recently acknowledged by Lawyers of Distinction for being within the top 10% of all attorneys in the United States, based on his reputation among peers, and for achieving excellent results for his clients. Mr. Huhem is also recognized by Rue Ratings’ Best Attorneys of America as being in the top 1% of attorneys in the nation.
Michael A. Silberg, Esq.
Michael Silberg is a dedicated attorney licensed to practice in the state of Texas since 2022. He brings a sharp legal mind, a client-focused approach, and a strong foundation in litigation to Huhem Law Firm, where he currently leads the firm’s Evictions and Appeals Department.
Michael earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Tulane University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Hofstra Law School. While in law school, he gained hands-on experience working at a personal injury defense firm and through Hofstra’s legal clinic, where he developed a strong interest in advocacy and practical problem-solving.
After graduating, Michael began his legal career at a personal injury firm in Uptown Dallas, where he built valuable skills in discovery, litigation strategy, and case management. In June 2023, he joined Huhem Law Firm and quickly rose to lead the Evictions and Appeals Department. Since then, he has handled hundreds of eviction appeals, consistently delivering results through meticulous preparation and assertive representation.
In addition to his appellate work, Michael regularly handles justice court evictions, tow hearings, real estate contract disputes, and personal injury defense matters. His approach is always client-first—he prioritizes clear communication, informed decision-making, and fighting for the best possible outcome in every case.
Courtney Brooks, M.A.
Courtney Brooks is the Law Office Manager and Sr. Paralegal for Huhem Law Firm, PLLC. She joined Huhem Law Firm in 2016 and has experience in every practice area but specializes in civil litation and bankruptcy matters. Courtney also represents Huhem Law Firm, PLLC clients in eviction hearings in the DFW metroplex.
Courtney received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas in 2011. While obtaining her undergraduate degree she was a research assistant to Dr. Kaminski and made significant contributions to the dissertation research of Dr. Elissa Woodruff. Courtney later went on to obtain her post baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate at the University of North Texas in 2014.
Courtney graduated in 2020 with her Master of Arts degree in Legal Studies at American Public University.
Prior to her employment with Huhem Law Firm, PLLC Courtney was a Sr. Foreclosure Litigation Paralegal at Nationstar Mortgage LLC where she managed a case load of over 550 litigation cases in various states across the United States and Puerto Rico.
Adriana Rivera
Adriana Rivera is a legal assistant at Huhem Law Firm PLLC. She oversees Huhem Law Firm, PLLC’s Eviction Department. Adriana currently represents Huhem Law Firm, PLLC clients in eviction cases in the DFW metroplex. Adriana has been with Huhem Law Firm, PLLC since 2018. She appears in the JP Courts for Dallas and Tarrant Counties daily and is held in high esteem by the Judges, Court Clerks and Bailiffs for her professionalism and preparedness in the court room. Prior to working for at Huhem Law Firm, PLLC Adriana was an assistant property manager at a multi-family apartment community. Adriana understands the intricacies of running an apartment community which allows her to effectively assist property owners in their landlord-tenant related issues.
Adriana is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Avery Rouillard
Avery Rouillard is currently a legal assistant at Huhem Law Firm, PLLC. Avery works closley with Mr. Silberg in handling all of the Eviction Appeal cases. She also is the first person you will usually speak to if you call Huhem Law Firm as she provides excellent customer service. She also files eviction petitions in the JP Courts throughout the DFW metroplex. Avery also represents Huhem Law Firm, PLLC clients in Eviction cases in the JP Courts and is known for her professionalism and preparedness in the courtroom. Avery has been with Huhem Law Firm, PLLC since 2024.
Avery is currently attending Tarrant County Community College to receive her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.
